Congrats to last night's New Talent Competition winners!

Last night marked the second preliminary round of the 8th Annual New Talent Comedy Competition. With pro host Grant Lyon and headliner Sandy Stec from Mix 106.5 and a sold-out crowd, the show rocked! But, yet again, there can only be four winners moving on to the semi-final rounds. They are:

1st Place: Samuel Comroe
2nd Place: Pat McCoy
3rd Place: Mark Zhang
4th Place: Joey Bragg

How about a big round of applause for all last night's competitors...they did a great job!

Congrats to last night's New Talent Competition winners!

It's Roosters' 8th Annual New Talent Comedy Competition season! Starting with preliminary rounds in late February through March, then on to the semifinals in April, and culminating in the finals on May 5! We start with a pool of over 100 comedians. The audience votes for their favorites in each round resulting in only one first place winner! But first, the preliminaries.

Last night was the kick off of the whole shebang. Roosters' favorite Grant Lyon emceed and Conor Kellicutt closed out the show. All the competitors did a great job, but only 4 can move on to the semis. Those four are:

1st Place: Bombo Belford
2nd Place: Matt Gubser
3rd Place: Jake Brenner
4th Place: Tree (Teresa Cretella)

Congrats all!
