Plus an appearance by the Lady of the Evening..wait, that doesn’t sound right..Heather Barbieri will also do a set!
The show will be open to the public. Doors open at 7:15pm, showtime at 8pm, tickets $10 plus two-item minimum per person. 21 and over only. Tickets available at 408.736.0921, on www.RoosterTFeathers.com or on Roosters’ Facebook page.
About Heather: Originally from Denver, Colorado, Heather Woodhull Barbieri is a 15-year veteran stand-up comic, and is the owner and booker of Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club since December 2001.
About Roosters: Since 1979 Rooster T. Feathers has brought the nation's best comics to the Sunnyvale stage. Stars of today such as Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, and Drew Carey have entertained thousands of Rooster's crowds. Today, Roosters is the host to national comics as seen on The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central. Not a cavernous hall or stuffy theater, Roosters offers an intimate setting where you can enjoy the funniest entertainers, live and up close, the way stand-up comedy was intended. This historic landmark was Sunnyvale's original bus stop and back in the early 1970s was the location of the beta test of the first video game, Pong. Rooster's showroom is always available for private parties, corporate events and daytime rentals in addition to our nightly shows. Personalized catering is also available for parties of 35 or more.

Comedy Day Turns 30 (but doesn't look a day over 29)!
Sunday, September 19, Noon--5:00pm
Sharon Meadow * Golden Gate Park * San Francisco
The Annual Comedy Day festival is like the company picnic for the San Francisco Bay Area comedy community. Comedians, club management and other industry folks eat barbecue, drink beer and catch up behind the stage. In front of the stage, thousands of Bay area comedy fans sit on blankets sipping wine and slapping their knees. On the stage is a cavalcade of comedians...some Bay Area legends, some Home Town Heroes and some up and comers...all hilarious. Probably 30 or 40 comedians or more. Some of the names Roosters' customers will recognize include Diane Amos ("The Pine-Sol Lady"), Larry "Bubbles" Brown, Will Durst, David Feldman, Grant Lyon, Mark Pitta, Greg Proops, Bob Sarlatte, Johnny Steele and more!
Here's links to a couple fun videos put together by Roosters' Favorite and Local Legend Mark Pitta showcasing Comedy Day back in the early days. Click here for the 1984 Comedy Day, and here for the 1988 Comedy Day.
Last year Roosters' Comedy Day set featured three of our favorite local comedians, Mike E. Winfield, Sammy Obeid and Beth Schumann. You can watch those performances below.
