This Thursday through Sunday get 2 General Admission tickets for only $10 by checking in on Yelp!

Ryan Hamilton was recently named one of the top 5 Comics to Watch by Rolling Stone Magazine. He has appeared on Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, and Conan. He's clever, clean and observational, and rapidly becoming a favorite at Roosters.

Ryan appears this week with the delightfully dorky Tim Babb (ABC's Wipeout, Last Comic Standing) and host Keon Polee (2012 Winner of the Roosters New Talent Competition).

Showtimes are Thursday at 8pm ($13), Friday at 9pm ($19), Saturday at 8pm and 10:30pm ($19) and Sunday at 8pm ($13).

Get two general admission tickets for only $10 when you check in at Roosters on the Yelp mobile app and claim the Check In Offer. If you have a smart mobile device, it's easy!

Make sure you have the Yelp app on your mobile device, search for Rooster T. Feathers and click on the "Check In Here." The Check In Offer will then appear on your device. You can do this in advance and click "Save for Later" to redeem at the door.

Once you click on "Use it Now!" you only have 4 hours to redeem it, so be sure to wait until you're  at Roosters to do that step.

Be sure to show us you've checked in before you pay your admission in order to get the deal! We can't refund tickets purchased online in advance. But we do encourage reservations, so even if you plan to take advantage of the Yelp deal, please call us at 408.736.0921 to reserve your spots in advance.

Sorry, no rain checks or substitutions.

No mobile device? Don't want to set up a Yelp account? We have other ways for you to save money too. Look for our Internet coupon link on the home page of our Web site.

Celebrate 40 years of Pong with Geeks & Gamers Comedy 11/28

Geeks & Gamers Comedy Showcase: A Pong 40th Anniversary Celebration

Co-sponsored by the Computer History Museum, with Special Guest Allan Alcorn, Pong Designer

Join us Wednesday November 28 as we celebrate the birth of the Video Game Industry, right in our very own bar!

The original Pong machine!
In 1972, Allan Alcorn created Pong as a training exercise assigned to him by Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell. Surprised by the quality of Alcorn's work, Atari decided to manufacture the game. Pong quickly caught on and became the first commercially successful video game, which led to the start of the video game industry. (source: Wikipedia)

In the fall of 1972, the Pong machine designed by Alcorn was beta-tested in the Sunnyvale bar called Andy Capp’s Tavern, located at 157 W El Camino Real. 40 years later, Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club now occupies this historic building. The original Pong machine is currently on display at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.

With host Erikka Innes (Sex with Nerds) and headliner Tim Babb (Last Comic Standing, Wipeout), the Geeks and Gamers Comedy Showcase will feature a full line up of comedians, some pro and some amateur, beta-testing their jokes! The festivities will include a few words from Allan Alcorn, a prize for the best Gaming joke, and a special grand prize drawing featuring a gift bag from the Computer History Museum plus free tickets to an upcoming Roosters’ show.

Show details:
Wednesday, November 28, 8pm (doors open at 7:15pm), $10 per person
Tickets available online at www.RoosterTFeathers.com. Click here for the full event listing.
Reservations encouraged. Call 408.736.0921 for more information or to make reservations.

2 Chances to win tickets from KOFY-TV!

Welcome back, KOFY!

We love KOFY-TV. They sponsor some of our events, schlep the KOFY Crew out to the club to give stuff away, put some of our customers on TV saying things like, "Welcome back, KOFY!", and feature many of our favorite local comedians on the late-Saturday night Creepy KOFY Movie Time show. CKMT is campy horror movie and variety show, with go-go dancers, comedians, bands, magicians and other off-beat performers hosted by No Name--a DJ--and Balrok--a demon. Conor Kellicutt, Tim Babb, Larry "Bubbles" Brown, Alex Koll, Kabeezy and Sammy Obeid are just a few of the comedians that have slung jokes in the cave.

KOFY Club members can win tickets for headliner Brent Weinbach on September 17 (9pm) or Bryan Callen on September 24 (9pm). Contest began 8/30 and goes through 9/10 for the Weinbach tix and runs from 9/6 to 9/17 for the Callen tix. Visit KOFYtv.com to learn more about the KOFY Club and to enter to win!

Even if you don't win tickets, come on out to one or both of these shows. The KOFY Crew will be on hand with lots of freebies and your chance to be on TV!

Here's a clip of headliner Brent Weinbach on Comedy Central. Brent performs five shows September 16 through 19 at Roosters.

Just for fun, a little taste of CKMT.
